Cintra

Our Cintra collection was inspired by the romance of the 13th Century in Portugal and Sintra, a municipality dotted with royal palaces, estates and medieval castles as well as the brightly painted houses at the historical centre of the old city. Set against the backdrop of a magnificent limestone mountain range, a beautiful tale is told in the area about the acts of kindness performed by Queen Elizabeth of Sintra and of her devotion to those less fortunate than herself.

Our Cintra collection is a tribute to a story known as ‘The Miracle of the Rose’ in which the Queen would secretly deliver her offerings to the poor. We aim to capture the delicate colours of the limestone mountains, the softness of the Queen’s heart and the splendour of the rose.

We like to think that the Cintra collection is a true love story in itself.
